Hey, Oppo. I don’t really have the freedom to post like I used to but thought I’d share some photos of the 240 I bought back in November 2018.
It was disgusting when I towed it home. Covered in pine needles and tree sap.
I got it running after discovering the ignition ECU had failed. After cleaning it up a bit, I basically just drove it and fixed small things here and there over the winter. Changed the front control arm bushings, engine oil, trans oil. The last big job was pulling the dash to change the blower motor.
Other than that, it’s been a great car. Slow as hell but it handles far better than a car designed in the 70's should. I have it properly cleaned up and submitted it to Bring a Trailer. I dunno if they’ll take it but it looks pretty good, IMO.

Excellent work. It looks really good now. I hope BaT accepts it.
Also, very nice V70R.

The paint cleaned up nicely. My girlfriend didn’t believe me that I could see it under all that shit.

Thanks. BaT denied me almost immediately. Surprising considering all the high mileage 240's that have been on in the last several months.

Two other everyday cars, a work vehicle I drive home, and we recently acquired a 30 foot motorhome. I totally would if I had a 3-car garage.
